The Incline Open is a fun-filled tennis competition for players of all skill levels. Men’s and Women's Singles divisions; plus Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles divisions for players levels 3.0 - 5.0. Winners' names are added to the huge Incline Open trophy, which is on display at the Incline Village Tennis & Pickleball Center throughout the year.

2023 Details & Registration

Dates: July 28, 29, & 30, 2023

FEES

• Singles: $50, ($40 w/IVGID Recreation Pass)
• Doubles or Mixed Doubles: $45 per person, ($35 w/IVGID Recreation Pass)

REGISTRATION

Register early! We expect many divisions to sell out. Registration closes July 23rd.

MATCH SCHEDULE

Draw will be posted on the registration site no later than July 27th at 5pm.

Please ensure you arrive at the Tennis & Pickleball Center with plenty of time before your division start time to check in, find your partner, get warmed up and make it to your court on time.

FORMAT

• Players can only enter two events
• Singles play begins on Friday and continues on Sunday
• Doubles play begins on Friday and continues on Sunday
• Upon registration you agree to play on friday if necessary.
• Awards: 1st & 2nd for each division
• 2 out of 3 sets (doubles play 10 point tie breaker for 3rd set)
• Divisions may be combined if necessary

SANDBAGGING | OUT OF ONE'S LEAGUE

It is the athlete's responsibility to register for a division that suits his or her skill level. It is the tournament responsibility to facilitate competitive divisions if at all possible. The tournament shall have the authority to change an Athlete's or Team's registered division for the betterment of the tournament.

CANCELATIONS

All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you must withdraw, please let us know by July 27th at 5pm PST.

REGISTRATION REFUSAL

If Incline Village Tennis and Pickleball Center identifies an athlete that violates our good sportsman Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to refuse registration and or remove an athlete from the event in progress.

PARKING

There is some parking at the Tennis and Pickleball Center but the primary lot is the back of the Incline Village Recreation Center adjacent to the Tennis and Pickleball Center.

WHAT TO BRING

There is some space for lawn chairs but please do not bring canopies. There is plenty of shade around the courts.

FOOD, SNACKS, DRINKS

There will be water, and some snacks throughout both days. There are drinks and additional snacks available for purchase in the Pro Shop.

WEATHER

Tahoe is famous for beautiful summer weather. But just in case we may need to make adjustments to times and formats if the weather impacts setup and/or play. Our plan is to do everything we can to play, and cancellation will be our last resort with first consideration being safety of everyone involved. We will do our best to communicate changes as soon as we can.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Only participants, water bottles and towels, will be allowed on the courts. Bags must be hung on racks outside of the court.
• Tournament ball is Dunlop AT Extra Duty High Altitude
• Medals will be awarded on Sunday
